Consulting — Modern Consumer Reformation

We do not tune a commercial system. We rebuild the four parts that decide whether it converts.

Diagnose the gap, design the reformed offer, positioning and sales process. You are paying for judgment: what is actually wrong, what to do about it, and in what order.

The method

Pyre — diagnosis through measurement

Every engagement runs a structured diagnostic sequence rather than an opinion. Evidence is taken in first, opportunities are scored against it, a validation plan is written with a horizon on it, and the decision is recorded — so that what was decided, and on what basis, is still legible months later.

The sequence is the reason the diagnosis comes before the design. A reformation built on an assumption is a more expensive version of the problem it was meant to fix.

The method, in full

Five lenses, run in order. Evidence before design.

Pyre is the sequence every Consulting engagement runs. It is published here in full because a method a client cannot inspect before buying is indistinguishable from an opinion with a name on it. Each lens states what it examines, why it sits where it does, and what you hold at the end of it.

  1. 01

    Buyer reality

Diagnose how buyers actually research, compare, doubt, delay, misunderstand and decide, and set the baselines against which everything later is measured: revenue, conversion, offer, proof, journey and sales.

No recommendation precedes evidence. This is the lens that makes the rest of the sequence answerable to something other than opinion.

What you receiveModern Buyer Profile, Skepticism Map, Education Gap, Trust Barrier Inventory, Lost-Deal Friction Summary, baseline scorecard.

  2. 02

    Position and authority

Establish which parts of positioning, sales, authority and operating behaviour were designed for a buyer who no longer exists — then translate real expertise into a differentiated position, buyer education, proof architecture and credible contrast.

This lens does two jobs because they cannot be done apart: what gets retired and what replaces it are one decision. Useful tradition is distinguished from obsolete control, pressure and unsupported status.

What you receiveLegacy Assumption Register, keep / reform / retire decisions, Positioning Thesis, Authority Architecture, Proof Matrix, Offer Ladder, Claims Register.

  3. 03

    The confidence journey

Redesign the route from first awareness through inquiry, consultation, proposal, close, onboarding, delivery, retention, referral and reactivation.

The journey is treated as one continuous object rather than a marketing funnel bolted to a delivery process. Confidence is the thing being engineered; the stages are just where it is won or lost.

What you receiveBuyer Confidence Journey, touchpoint standards, objection-resolution map, implementation backlog.

  4. 04

    Sales reformation

Replace coercive persuasion with diagnosis, guided comparison, evidence, a clear choice, disciplined follow-up and mutual-value commitments.

This is the lens most often mistaken for training. It is not: the standard, the playbook and the review rubric are artefacts, and a seller who leaves does not take them with them.

What you receiveDiscovery Standard, Sales Guidance Playbook, Proposal System, Follow-up Cadence, call-review rubric.

  5. 05

    Traction and evidence

Give every KPI a definition, a source, an owner, a cadence, a target, a trigger and a corrective action — then run it, measure it, review the resistance, and institutionalise what survives contact with reality.

Validated outputs enter the operating memory. Failed drafts become evidence rather than doctrine, which is the same rule this site applies to its own claims.

What you receiveKPI Dictionary, Executive Scorecard, Work-Order System, Revenue Council, Experiment Register, Decision Log, variance review.

Depth varies by engagement. Signal runs the first lens and enough of the second to score the gap; Foundry runs all five. Which lenses apply to your situation, and how far each is taken, is stated in the written proposal after the diagnosis.

The two rooms

Founder-led and owner-operator

You know your trade; we fix how it sells. Direct, practical, scoped.

Private and family capital

You built the asset; we modernise the buying system around it. Discreet and by introduction.

One doctrine either way

The register changes with the room. The diagnosis, the method and the standard of evidence do not.

Start with the diagnosis.

Signal quantifies the gap and produces a scored baseline. Everything else is designed against it.
