Nothing on this site is a quotation. Scope and fee are set in a written proposal after the diagnosis, and where the proposal and this site disagree, the proposal governs.

Most proposals in this field state scope and fee well. Two things are usually absent, and their absence is not accidental.

Limitations

What the engagement will not do, and what it cannot fix. Writing this down narrows the sale. It also prevents the slow conversation nine weeks in where a client discovers that something they assumed was included was never in scope, and both sides are technically right.

The exit

How the engagement ends, what is handed over, what the client keeps, and what happens to anything the firm is running on their behalf. Stated before signature rather than negotiated once someone wants to leave.

An engagement that can only be exited expensively will be exited eventually anyway, in worse conditions and with more damage. Naming the exit early costs a firm some leverage. It is leverage that should not exist.
